I’m new to wearing organic cotton clothing and honestly; I don’t usually look for all-natural and organic products when I’m shopping, even though I know I should. I believe it is essential to the health of the planet and that I should live sustainably for the future of our environment. The reason I don’t is that I find organic produce more expensive and more affordable – a poor excuse.
While traveling to Denver, Colorado, I discovered Pact Organic Clothing Company and was encouraged to try their product. I discovered that buying organic was not as expensive as I initially thought!
Keep reading this Pact Clothing review and find out why.
Pact Organic Clothing’s mission is to provide high quality, fair trade organic cotton clothing that, unlike traditionally grown cotton, is grown responsibly and has a low impact on the environment and farmers. I wanted something particularly casual and comfortable, but with style, and this charcoal and heather striped design is indeed better than an ordinary sweatshirt.
Be warned that the style is really slouchy, so if that’s not your style preference then you might want to avoid this item. Apart from that, I purposely put the sweatshirt in a hot tumble dryer to shrink it a bit, and I prefer the way it fits now, as it’s slightly smaller and suits my smaller waist better.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that when I presented Ray after washing and drying him, my husband touched him and asked if he was cashmere. Yes, it’s so super soft!
I’ve been wearing my new Slouchy Fit Sweatshirt at home and around town, but I intend to wear it on long-haul flights or road-trips, when I want something warm, casual and comfortable with a bit of style.
What attracted me to this V-neck t-shirt was its color. It’s pretty and I think this lovely shade suits all skin tones.
When I first tried on the shirt, I thought the neckline was a bit low, but the more I wear it, the less I notice the deep V neckline.
What I particularly like about this little t-shirt is the softness of the fabric against my skin and the quality of the finish. It’s super comfortable and easy to wear. Plus, I love the fact that it’s not too short – it’s got a nice length to cover the bum and you don’t have to worry about it riding up and revealing the back when you bend over.
When I opened the package, I thought, “Hmm, these leggings look extremely small”. But in reality, the fit is perfect. These leggings are very comfortable, welcoming and ideal for travel, as they are lightweight, fit in a small bag and can be worn in many situations.
TIP: Make sure you consult the Pact Organic Size Chart before purchase.
One thing I love is that the waistband on the leggings is quite thick (about 2 inches) and is well suited to hold in the tummy after eating too many doughnuts (wink). Let’s be honest – I’m one of those girls who wears yoga clothes for convenience and not to REALLY go to the yoga studio.
The fabric of the leggings is very stretchy and the slightly shiny surface means that leggings aren’t just for the gym. You can wear leggings under a long top or under a short, fashionable dress for a more elegant occasion.
My new favorite outfit at the moment is the combination of cropped leggings with the lightweight sarong jacket and V-neck t-shirt – together, they make the perfect combination.
As for shipping, everything but the leggings arrived in a plastic bag sealed with cello, and the leggings were in a cardboard box.
Returns are simple, according to wearpact.com. Free exchange or refund within 60 days of purchase if you chose the wrong size for the first pair of underwear, bra, leggings or tights. Other garments can be returned within 60 days, provided they are in their original condition.
